When ordering goods from our webshop, you provide personal data (name, address, email, phone number, etc.). We need this data for various purposes, including processing your order. In this policy, we explain why we ask for personal data and how we use it. If you have any questions after reading this policy, feel free to contact us. Also, be sure to read our cookie policy.
Who is responsible for processing your data?
The data collected through our website are included in the files of BVBA SANTUREL INTER, with registered office at 8980 Zonnebeke, Lange Dreve 8F, registered with the Belgian Crossroads Bank of Enterprises under number 0461.393.564, and VAT number BE 0461.393.564. BVBA SANTUREL INTER is responsible for processing the data.

How do we obtain your personal data?
We obtain your data in several ways. First, you provide data when placing your order. By placing an order, you implicitly give us permission to process and store this data. Second, we collect data through your visit to our website, which is done through cookies. You can learn more about cookies in our cookie policy. Finally, we may also obtain data through third parties.
What data do we collect?
We collect your contact details such as your address, email address, phone number, mobile number, fax number, etc. We also collect payment details, such as your bank account number. Additionally, through the use of our website, social media, email responses, cookies, click-through data, navigation data, and other technologies, we may collect data about you. For professional customers, suppliers, or businesses we are partnered with, we also store business information such as VAT number or company registration number, contact details of legal entity representatives (name, position, phone, etc.), as well as the partners and/or stakeholders of the business. We also keep track of possible interests that we can meet through our services and activities. To actively acquire new customers, we may collect data via external channels like address management services. We then contact these potential customers, who can verify, improve, modify, or request that their data no longer be used.
Why do we collect your personal data?
We process your personal data primarily because you have given us permission by entering your personal data during the ordering process and by checking a box to consent.
Second, we process your data because it is necessary for the proper performance of the agreement. For example, we may send you a digital invoice or ship your package to the correct address. We may also share your data with others if needed for processing your order and payment, such as delivery services and payment providers.
Third, we process your data to comply with legal obligations. For example, the government may require us to provide personal data.
Fourth, we process your data to pursue our legitimate interests. We use your data to inform you about promotions, direct marketing, and other commercial and marketing purposes.
If you do not wish to receive newsletters or information about our products and services, you can unsubscribe at any time, without providing any reason. You can do this by sending us an email, changing your settings, or contacting our customer service. You can also unsubscribe directly by clicking the unsubscribe link in the promotional emails. You will only receive electronic direct marketing communications if you have explicitly given your consent. You can unsubscribe from direct marketing communications at any time, free of charge.
How are your personal data stored?
All the data you provide is stored on a secure server using the latest techniques. If we share your data with others, we require that they handle your data with the same level of care as we do and only use it for the purpose for which it was provided. If you feel this is not the case, do not hesitate to contact us.
How long are your personal data stored?
Your personal data will be stored for as long as necessary for the performance of the agreement. After the agreement is terminated, we will retain your data for as long as we could be held liable, either by you or a third party, due to this agreement.
Are your data transferred to third parties?
We treat the data you provide to us as confidential and will not disclose, rent, or sell it to third parties, except for those necessary to fulfill the order (e.g., delivery services or payment providers) or unless required by law (e.g., for fraud detection).
Occasionally, we engage external processors. This means we may share data with third parties if we lack the resources to perform certain tasks ourselves. When we do so, we ensure that your data is treated confidentially and securely. We require our processors to handle your personal data securely and confidentially. These processors are not allowed to use your data for any purpose other than the task they are processing and must delete your data once their task is completed.
What rights do you have?
You have the right to access and correct your personal data, as well as the right to request the deletion of your personal data. You can also request a restriction on the processing of your personal data, and you have the right to object to processing for purposes such as direct marketing. Finally, you can ask us to transfer your data to a third party designated by you (data portability).
You can exercise these rights free of charge by submitting a written, dated, and signed request to us. We may ask you to prove your identity. If you wish to have your data deleted, please specify this in your request.
We have one month from receiving your request to respond. This period can be extended to two months depending on the complexity of the request and/or the number of requests.
Can I withdraw my consent?
You have the right to withdraw your consent, which you gave during the order process, at any time, without affecting the lawfulness of the processing based on your consent prior to the withdrawal. You can do this free of charge by simply making a request to us. However, the withdrawal of your consent does not affect the processing of your personal data based on other legitimate purposes.
What should I do if I have complaints?
We strive for 100% customer satisfaction. If you have a complaint regarding the processing of your personal data, you can contact the Data Protection Authority (Privacy Commission): commission@privacycommission.be.
